How are we already a whole week into September alr

How are we already a whole week into September already? I feel like it’s taken a week or so to get over the summer holidays (and the chaos and juggle that brings!)

We had a lovely summer - days out here and there, play dates, a family holiday. Alongside the juggle and grind of working - @munchkinsports_ camp came in very handy, as well as family and friends helping to keep the kids entertained - we took it in turns to take time off to spend with the kids. A very common take the UK over, I’m sure!

Anyway, I’m going to start posting more on here, mostly promoting my blog! Yes, I have a blog! 😂 Alongside my social media management business (@beevisible ) and my community hubs for mums in business (@bromleybusinessmums @essexbusinessmums and the newbies @lewishambusinessmums + @sussexbusinessmums) - I have my fingers in many pies! 😂

Can you tell my husband actually said to me this weekend that I need to shout about what I do more! 😂 Hyping me up, I love it. And need it actually. I think we all need a cheerleader on our side!

Being by the water without the hassle of being at the beach, is my favourite thing! We only did such a small section of Lake Garda, and there’s still plenty more to see. We will be back! 🇮🇹

How was this 11 years ago?? A lot has happened since then 😂 Such a dreamy day, full of love (and perhaps a bit too much Prosecco!)

There’s no point in wishing Graham a Happy Anniversary on here because he shuns social media, so won’t see it. 😂 He’s my voice of reason when I want to be impulsive (which means that I stop to think about what I want to do, and then do it anyway) 😂 and - although we are older and greyer now - I’m so glad to be on the rollercoaster ride of marriage with him.

It’s a low-key celebration this year, as we’ve just moved into a new flat - so it’s boxes everywhere! And with 2 kids at home on half term, it’s a family affair for sure. I’m sure we’ll manage to squeeze in a glass of fizz in somewhere though. 😜

The kids were actually quite disappointed that we weren’t having a party this year, like we did for 10 years! I’m all for parties every year - starting next year?? 🥰

No need to buy a number 6 cake mould… I just used the 8 I bought a few weeks ago, cut out a bit and smothered it in chocolate buttercream. You’d never know. 😋
