I took this picture whilst walking through the woods to vote last Thursday. And I posed the question on my stories that is doing the rounds at the moment - would you rather be stuck in the woods with a bear or a man? The majority of people who voted said “bear”.

May was a lot of fun! A trip to Margate with the family, a gorgeous escape to Lake Garda with my mum, a house move, a half term and more.

Being by the water without the hassle of being at the beach, is my favourite thing! We only did such a small section of Lake Garda, and there’s still plenty more to see. We will be back! 🇮🇹

How was this 11 years ago?? A lot has happened since then 😂 Such a dreamy day, full of love (and perhaps a bit too much Prosecco!)

There’s no point in wishing Graham a Happy Anniversary on here because he shuns social media, so won’t see it. 😂 He’s my voice of reason when I want to be impulsive (which means that I stop to think about what I want to do, and then do it anyway) 😂 and - although we are older and greyer now - I’m so glad to be on the rollercoaster ride of marriage with him.

It’s a low-key celebration this year, as we’ve just moved into a new flat - so it’s boxes everywhere! And with 2 kids at home on half term, it’s a family affair for sure. I’m sure we’ll manage to squeeze in a glass of fizz in somewhere though. 😜

The kids were actually quite disappointed that we weren’t having a party this year, like we did for 10 years! I’m all for parties every year - starting next year?? 🥰

No need to buy a number 6 cake mould… I just used the 8 I bought a few weeks ago, cut out a bit and smothered it in chocolate buttercream. You’d never know. 😋

The lovely team at @peugeot_saveurs_uk sent me their Paris Press last week to try out, and let me tell you, what a treat! I do love my coffee, and grinding my own beans straight into the cafetière is blowing my mind a little bit. 😂 My standard is very much instant coffee all the way at home, so it's nice to try something a little more sophisticated! Haha! It's so cool - it certainly earnt its place in my coffee lovers gift guide (link in bio and on stories if you fancied a read)

I asked if they would provide one as a competition prize for a lucky follower, and they were more than happy to oblige!
