Fisher-Price Sit to Stand Activity Centre
As my youngest isn’t walking yet, we were looking for something for him to sit in and be supported whilst still playing and learning. We were very kindly offered the Fisher-Price Sit to Stand Activity Centre to review, and it looked great for my 11 month old!
With the Fisher Price Sit to Stand Activity centre, he can sit comfortably in the middle with lots of toys to explore. The sitting mode is suitable from when your baby can support their head until 9-12 months.
I noticed that he could turn the seat around easily, so if he saw something that he wanted to play with on the other side of the activity centre, he could just swivel around and get to it. This is a great feature, as he’s getting stronger.
It has a great variety of activities. My baby particularly likes the lights and sounds keyboard (which is detachable!)
The toys on it are very sturdy (as any parent knows, toys need to be tough!) and it’s nice to see that this Fisher Price unit is as well made as their other toys (my mother-in-law still has Fisher Price toys from when my husband was a baby, some 38 years ago, and our children play with them today. So you know it’s a quality brand!
It also turns into a toddler activity table for when your baby is older and doesn’t want to be confined to the middle of the unit. They can stand on the outside and cruise around. The standing mode is suitable from when baby is standing (9-12 months+). The seat gets replaced with a slide, which my toddler had lots of fun with; he loves sending his cars down the ramp (and it doesn’t matter whether it’s attached to the unit or not, as the photo shows!)
It’s just the right height for both of them – my toddler on the outside, and my baby in the middle – and the way they interact and play together is so cute!
I would definitely recommend this unit if you have young children. It’ll grow with your child, so is definitely worth the investment.
