Review | Kuhn Rikon
We were sent some lovely kid-friendly kitchen items from Kuhn Rikon to review, including the Kuhn Rikon kinderkitchen essentials set, Kuhn Rikon Pocket Maker Set and the Kuhn Rikon Ratchet Grater. Here’s what 11 year old Izzy and her Mum Sarah thought of them!
Kuhn Rikon kinderkitchen essentials set (knives and snippers):
These are a definite winner! The cute designs make them highly appealing to kids and adults alike. The chunky grips are easy to hold for little hands.
We think they are great for giving little ones a sense of independence, without the worry of them chopping a finger off!!
The knives and duck snippers worked well on a variety of things. The fact that they can be chucked in the dishwasher after an afternoon of chopping is also a bonus!
These will remain a firm favourite in our kitchen!!
These also worked really well! The instruction manual was easy to follow and super informative.
Love the fact that they come with lots of different recipe ideas.
They were really easy to use (once we worked out how much filling to use) and the results were yummy!
Again, so pleased it could all go into the dishwasher after use.
One downside was that they felt a little bit flimsy… But we will still definitely use these again!
The kids enjoyed using this (with adult supervision). But we found it a lot of effort for a little bit of cheese! The fact that you need to know exactly how much cheese you are going to need before you start isn’t good for a cheese lover like me (I tend to just pile it on usually).
It does however work very well if you are on a diet and need to be exact with measurements, or if grating chocolate for a cake etc.
This would be a nightmare to clean if you couldn’t put it in the dishwasher. It has to be dismantled before being washed, then reassembled once it’s clean. It was ok, it worked well; just a bit of a faff for every day use.
Huge thanks to Izzy and Sarah for their review!
