February Gift Guide | chocolate

Ahh… February.  It’s always a bit of a relief when February rolls around; it basically means that January is over, we can look forward to the year ahead…  And the long awaited January pay day has arrived!  I thought what better way to celebrate February than with a gift guide all about chocolate!  YUM!

Here are some top picks for gifts to give (or treat yourself to) in February.

Henny & Joe’s Chocolate Chai
Henny & Joe’s award winning Chocolate Chai is the perfect chai for contemporary living, whilst keeping the tradition of the drink alive.

From the very first sip you get so many beautiful spices (cardamom, ginger, star anise, nutmeg, cloves, all spice, mixed spice, fennel seed and cinnamon) followed by a deliciously chocolatey taste.  Yum!

It can be used to make chai lattes or tea and can also be used in baking and cocktails. Perhaps a little drizzle over porridge, ice-cream or custard??  The possibilities are endless!  I’ve been enjoying a delicious chai latte for the last few days as an afternoon treat and I must say, it works so well!  It tastes decadent and luxurious, and the spices really pep it up!

Choccydoodle
Choccydoodle supply completely bespoke and personalised chocolate gifts for every occasion!

Whether it be your best friend’s birthday, your children’s birthday party, Wedding favours, Easter, Halloween, Valentines; the list goes on.  Every occasion needs chocolate!  The flower bouquets are just gorgeous, and head chocolatier Kayleigh is happy to go through any bespoke requests you have – the sky is the limit!

Morse Toad
Morse Toad is transforming the gestures we send in the post. In today’s world of instant and forgettable digital communication, the post is an increasingly awesome way to communicate for those special occasions. But let’s face it, cards are boring.

Morse Toad’s deliciously personalised messaging service allows you to communicate via the medium of chocolate and photography. From any device, just type a chocolate message, take a photo or use one from social, and send and the gift will be delivered through any letterbox in 1-2 days.

Some things are just better said in chocolate, right?

Supertreatssupertreats
How about a treat for the kids?  Supertreats carob bars are the healthy chocolate alternative for kids that contain no refined sugar or stimulants. They’re made from 100% natural, organic ingredients and are choc-full of wholesome goodness.  And – you know what – tastes absolutely scrummy!  Currently available in 2 flavours – Silky Milk and Merry Berry – they taste deceptively sweet.  They were also a big hit with my boy!

They are available to purchase from Amazon and Ocado, and are currently running a Crowdfunder campaign to raise funds for further product development; check them out here: www.crowdfunder.co.uk/supertreats-campaign

*thank you to Henny & Joe, Choccydoodle, Morse Toad, & Supertreats for the samples – yum!*
